Untitled Homeware, affordable luxury tableware brand Made in Italy created by Massimiliano Locatelli/CLS architetti, opened the 24th of May 2017 the first selling point in the USA, inside the prestigious luxury specialty retailer, Barneys New York. The exclusive Chelsea Passage space of 250 square meters on the 9th floor of the Madison Avenue flagship was transformed into the world of Untitled Homeware to welcome the tableware and furniture collections surrounded by a very Italian atmosphere, to offer the best and well-known Italian items. The set, projected by Massimiliano Locatelli/CLS architetti is designed to spread a feeling of summer, immersing guests into the Italian “Costiera” atmosphere. Carpet-mats yellow as a sunny wheat field, decorations with blue and yellow prints like the most traditional Italian pottery, glass tables in different blue shades reminding the sea, wallpapers reproducing typical frescoes from tiny churches immersed into seaside villages. Key players include the tableware collection with summer fantasies: from the turquoise accessories in Murano glass and baroque cameos with sea element reproductions, from plates decorated with flowers and bowls inlaid with mother of pearl shells. As Massimiliano Locatelli states “The ultimate aim of Untitled Homeware is to offer customers an extremely personal service. What bring heritage tableware pieces up-to-date by integrating them with articles in our collections.” The brand lands on the American market for the first time with a brilliant partner such as Barneys New York, to reinforce the brand’s positioning and excellence of Untitled Made in Italy qualities.
